Industial Internet of Things (IIoT) enables the production of customer-specific individualized enclosures without having to reckon with additional costs compared to series production.
Without any expertise in mechanical design, every user is able to design their desired enclosure with just a few clicks using the digital models. The dimensions are entered completely individually and with millimeter precision. By the way, there are no dependencies between height, width and depth. The hole patterns are designed by drag & drop. The color is selected from the entire RAL palette. The price is constantly displayed during the design process. In the final step, the customized enclosure is simply ordered with a click or transferred to the purchaser as a PDF.
The result is a control cabinet housing that fits exactly and no longer needs to be reworked. And because with this solution the hole patterns are already set in the body-in-white before coating, there are also no “predetermined rust spots”.
