Review: all about automation in Chemnitz 2026

New visitor record in Saxony

For two days, the ‘all about automation’ exhibition in Chemnitz served as a hub for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation in Saxony and throughout central Germany. 253 exhibitors and 2,985 industry professionals set a new visitor record, representing a ten percent increase compared to the previous year.

Personal exchanges, practical automation solutions and an open, welcoming atmosphere characterised both days. The hot topics were AI, robotics and safe automation – both at the stands and at the well-attended Talk Lounge.

In 2027, ‘all about automation’ will bring the automation community together again on 15 and 16 September 2027 in Chemnitz.

The Trade Fair for Industrial Automation in Saxony

At all about automation, local users and decision-makers meet with manufacturers of automation components and systems, providers of robotics solutions, integrators, software providers, service providers, and distributors. Through direct interaction, suppliers and users collaborate to develop solutions that pave the way for flexible automation and smart production.

2024 in Review

2 days of pure automation

Chemnitz is the heart of Saxony’s mechanical engineering industry. The all about automation event in Chemnitz on September 18 and 19 was a huge success: 2,395 visitors (2023: 1,994 visitors) and 200 exhibitors (2023: 191 exhibitors) exchanged ideas on solutions for industrial automation, robotics, and digitalization. Every booth in the exhibition hall was occupied, and attendance reached an all-time high. Presentations on AI and machine safety drew the largest audiences in the lecture area.
