all about automation is the trade exhibition series for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation geared towards regional visitor target groups. In 2024, the motto is ‘Welcome to aaa’ at seven locations in Germany and Switzerland.
Next on the agenda are the all about automation events in Zurich on 28 + 29 August, in Chemnitz on 18 + 19 September and in Düsseldorf on 1 + 2 October 2024.

At all about automation, visitors experience systems, components, software and engineering for industrial automation, industrial robots and industrial communication. Here, automation users will find solution partners on the way to flexible automation and smart production.

From 2025 in June: More space and new date for aaa in Hamburg
Three news for the Hamburg edition of all about automation: the exhibition is moving from January to early summer and will be held in parallel with two other trade fairs in future. The new date is 3 and 4 June 2025, the new venue is Hamburg Messe and the two regional trade fairs Logistics & Automation and Empack, also organised by Easyfairs, will be added.
The last three all about automation exhibitions at the previous location, the Hamburg-Schnelsen exhibition hall, were fully booked. The move will enable the new trade event network to grow, making it even more attractive for visitors from the entire northern region.

A successful premiere in Bavaria
Many exhibitors had already wished for it in recent years: an all about automation in Bavaria. Now the time has come. On 26 + 27 June 2024, the regional exhibition for industrial automation celebrated its very successful premiere in Straubing. 160 exhibitors and over 1,800 visitors took part. For visitors from Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate, the new meeting place for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation. The next all about automation in Straubing will take place on 10 + 11 June 2026.

Success in the anniversary year: 10 years of aaa on Lake Constance with record figures
The atmosphere in the two exhibition halls at all about automation in Friedrichshafen was excellent. The all about automation trade fair series is now ten years young and celebrated its anniversary in Friedrichshafen with the largest edition to date on 5 and 6 March 2024. For two days, the focus was on concrete solutions, new concepts and innovative ideas for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation. 380 exhibitors (2023: 321) and 5,018 visitors (2023: 4,180) took part.

Full halls in east and west
On 18 + 19 September 2024, all about automation will take place for the fifth time at Messe Chemnitz. On 1 + 2 October 2024, the Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf will host aaa for the third time. Regardless of the location, the programme is bigger than last year: more exhibitors, more presentations, more automation buzz.

With a concept that convinces with its focus on technical discussions and the informal atmosphere. 91 exhibitors and 975 visitors exchanged ideas about innovations, proven solutions and best practices at the second all about automation in Wetzlar on September 13 + 14, 2023. On September 10 + 11, 2025, all about automation will be back in Wetzlar.

For the second time, an all about automation will be held in Zurich on August 28 + 29, 2024. The trade fair will be significantly larger than the premiere in 2022. Maintenance – Switzerland’s leading trade fair for industrial maintenance will be held at the same time at Messe Zürich.

Automation highlight at Lake Constance
On March 7 and 8, 2023, all about automation took place in Friedrichshafen. On two very good trade fair days, 321 exhibitors networked with over 4,000 trade visitors from the international Lake Constance region and beyond.
Best practice for success: the aaa in Zurich 2022
On 31 August and 1 September 2022, all about automation took place in Zurich for the first time and was convincing all along the line. The next aaa in Switzerland will take place on 28 + 29 August 2024 at Messe Zürich.
