News Hamburg
Forward-looking trade fair platform for the North
Together with EMPACK and LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION, all about automation formed a strong trade fair trio for the north with around 350 exhibitors at Hamburg Messe on 3 + 4 June 2025.
The move from the previous location in Hamburg-Schnelsen to the city centre, the new date in June and the close integration with the two trade fairs sent a clear signal: A forward-looking platform is being created here.
News Straubing
A successful premiere in Bavaria
Many exhibitors had already wished for it in recent years: an all about automation in Bavaria. Now the time has come. On 26 + 27 June 2024, the regional trade fair for industrial automation celebrated its very successful premiere in Straubing. 160 exhibitors and over 1,800 visitors took part. For visitors from Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate, the new meeting place for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation.
The next all about automation in Straubing will take place on 10 + 11 June 2026.
News Chemnitz
Successful event in 2024
The heart of Saxony’s mechanical engineering industry beats in Chemnitz. In September 2024, all about automation took place at Messe Chemnitz with great results: 2,395 visitors (2023: 1,994 visitors) and 200 exhibitors (2023: 191 exhibitors) exchanged ideas about industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation solutions. All stand spaces in the exhibition hall were occupied and there were more visitors than ever before. Presentations on the topics of AI and machine safety attracted the largest audiences in the lecture area.
The next all about automation in Chemnitz will take place on 30 September + 01 October 2025.
News Duesseldorf
2025 with more space
The 170 exhibitors at the last all about automation in Duesseldorf on 1 + 2 October 2024 were delighted to see a 20% increase in visitors compared to the previous year in the fully booked Kaltstahlhalle at Areal Böhler. 2,005 visitors (2023: 1,663) experienced new products, exchanged ideas with suppliers about innovative solutions, saw cobots in action and discussed how digitalisation and AI will change industrial automation.
The next all about automation in Duesseldorf will take place on 17 + 18 September 2025 at Areal Böhler. The move to the larger Alte Schmiedehalle will allow more exhibitors to be welcomed

New locations in 2026 and 2027
Berlin, Wels and Graz: even more all about automation!
The all about automation exhibition series continues to grow and add new locations: In January 2026, the first all about automation exhibition will take place in Berlin, in May 2026 it will move to Austria for the first time, more precisely to Wels, and in September 2027, Graz will be added as the second location in Austria.
Trade fair director Tanja Waglöhner: ‘These three locations were requested by many exhibitors. We will also offer the regional automation communities here a strong platform for innovation, business contacts and personal exchange.’

The first all about automation took place in Friedrichshafen in 2014. Since then, the regional industrial automation exhibition has firmly established itself in the automation industry’s events calendar with eight locations in Germany and one location each in Switzerland and Austria.
The all about automation exhibitions are all about direct exchange and face-to-face discussions. Individual solutions are discussed, contacts are generated and relationships are strengthened. The regional nature of the exhibitions facilitates and accelerates the development of networks and partnerships.
