The plug contacts of electronic connectors must be manufactured with the highest precision and aligned with high accuracy. Due to the high clock rates in production, the connectors must be able to be inserted precisely and quickly. Due to the complex manufacturing process and the very small PIN geometries, the connectors must be geometrically measured in detail. The control of the wobble circle of the pins is measured in 3D with our non-contact sensors and evaluated immediately and inline.
