For the second time in three years, the waterproof T-Series of Y-Circ P push-pull circular connectors from Yamaichi Electronics has won the title of “Product of the Year” in a readers’ poll conducted by the electronics trade press. The renewed award by the trade public underlines the excellent acceptance of the T-Series in the market. The reliable waterproofness (protection rating IP68) at 5,000 mating cycles and the simple assembly are convincing.<\/p>\n
With the T-Series, Yamaichi Electronics has developed a connector with a robust locking system that meets complex requirements and still offers all the advantages of a push-pull connector, such as 5,000 mating cycles with reliable waterproofness.<\/p>\n
The successfully launched T-Series offers protection against permanent submersion in water and is available in four sizes (outer diameter 9 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm). All connectors have been tested and qualified in the in-house laboratory for 48h at 1m water depth and thus comply with protection rating IP68.<\/p>\n
The design includes the patented cable sealing collet. The cable seal and collet are reduced to just one part. This enables simple, fast and error-free assembly. Together with the long service life, the connector series has considerable savings potential.<\/p>\n
Different standard pin patterns are available for all sizes. Customer-specific pin patterns can be realised quickly and flexibly.<\/p>\n
