BENEDICT has been a specialist in the development and production of high-quality electromechanical low-voltage switching devices since 1920. The company headquarters is in Vienna. Know-how and mechanical equipment enable the production of individual solutions for international partners. BENEDICT offers contactors, switches as well as command and signaling devices for countless areas of application in many product variants. All devices comply with national regulations such as VDE and BS. The international standards IEC, UL, CCC and EAC are also implemented to the highest degree.
\nBENEDICT carries out pioneering work, particularly in the area of \u200b\u200bresearch and development. This made it possible to produce industrial contactors that can withstand an ambient temperature of up to + 90\u00b0C. A micro contactor also comes from the in-house research laboratory and is conquering the world market as the smallest safety contactor. The niche specialist has recorded further successes with capacitor contactors up to 100 kVAr and a series of DC switch disconnectors for photovoltaics in accordance with IEC 60947 and UL 508i. The latter is supplemented with a mini DC switch-disconnector series \u201cLSM\u201d, for areas of application where high DC loads are switched safely and reliably in the smallest of spaces. The switching of electrical devices according to IEC 60335 with AC1 loads up to 52A is made possible by main contactors developed specifically for this purpose. These powerful switching devices are used where there is little space and the size must be small to fit into the devices.
